GeMED is entirely configurable to meet each institution’s  organizational scheme, whatever big its size. Modular and interoperable, GeMED  can easily merge with the existing Information System (PACs, LIMs…)

Telemedicine Technologies do not provide just a softaware, but a set of services to support you in change to guarantee the success of  your health institution’s computerization management .

Case study: HOMEL

Patient Administrative Management – PAM

This module allows to manage the patients’ administrative data in conformity with the IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) international standards.
On their first day in the institution, each patient receives a unique identification code (IPP = permanent identification of the Patient). Thanks to this IPP, all patient’s data are automatically saved in the software. It’s a major point to reduce medical errors.
A powerful algorithm makes the creation of 2 IPP for a single patient impossible. However, in case 2 files are still created for a single patient despite the measure described above, a special function is available to merge the information into a single file. In the same way, for each venue or contact with the healthcare institution, a unique identifying number is given to the patient, which allows to gather all the acts / services delivered during the same visit. With GeMED, a member with a specific barcode can be delivered to the patient, or an ID picture can be included in the patient file to make the patient identification easier.

The invoicing module includes all the billing aspects:
• Service: The patient or his/her insurance company pays directly the service
• Global invoicing: especially applicable when the services are paid by social welfare.
The Statistics and Controlling Module allows to implement a large number of dashboards and reports facilitating considerably the institution’s financial management, for both costs and revenue. This module can be combined with the market’s accounting software.

Mobilitiy management

This module allows to track the patient from his admission to the time he leaves the institution.
The chief of service can know at any time either the occupation beds rate or the expected dates of leavings of the patients currently admitted.
For the external care, each doctor knows his consultation’s schedule, the number of patients treated during a day etc…The system automatically generates the occupation rate. It’s a key indicator in the healthcare institution’s administration, which optimize resources management and future investments.

Stocks and pharmacy

The Inventory management gives an answer to 2 key questions : when ordering products (medicine and consumables )and in which quantity. Over stocks such as out of stock products are therefore prevented. The system manage a centralized stock and unlimited decentralized stocks. Powerful functions allow a real-time follow-up of the stocks situation as well as their good management.

Computerized Patient Record – CPR

The CPF is made of a medical synthesis accessible from the record’s creation, and that includes all patient’s visits history. Th CPR includes all the patient’s records: medical record, healthcare record etc… With this module, many reference tables can be imported, whether they are specific to an institution, a country (Lists of acts and care…) or international (international disease coding – CIM 10)

Centralized Report

This module allows the heads Institutions to have in real time, under dashboards, all the necessary indicators to pilote the organization. It also facilitates for a group of institutions these data centralization to make easier the piloting of a global equipped institutions management. Finally it can interface with other indicators centralization systems ( DHIS2, …)

This module allows the interaction between a patient (at his home) and a healthcare professional from the health center for teleconsultation.
Using this module, the healthcare institution can also solicit expert advice or second opinion from an outsider professional, with an option to forward the documentation (Medical file, medical laboratory results, medical imaging).
